"Terres de l'Ebre" photography competition
- Purpose and Categories The purpose of these rules is to regulate the participation procedure in the Terres de l'Ebre Photography Competition, jointly organized by the tourism departments of Deltebre and l'Ametlla de Mar, as well as the selection procedure for the winning entries and the awarding of prizes.
There will be a total of 15 winning entries, distributed across 7 categories: • Deltebre • L'Ametlla de Mar • Black and White • Creativity • Gastronomy • Human Activity • Ebro Lands
- Participation Requirements • Registration is free and open to everyone, regardless of nationality or residence, whether amateur or professional.
• Individuals under 16 years of age may participate through their parents or legal guardians.
• Legal entities are not eligible to participate.
- Submission of Works • Collages, montages, painted photographs, photographic toning, manipulated photographs, and HDR photographs are not permitted.
• Photographs must be real: images generated by artificial intelligence programs will not be accepted.
• Watermarks, borders, or any type of reference to the author are not permitted.
• In the case of photographs taken with drones, the corresponding license must be provided.
• Works must be original and cannot have been awarded prizes in other competitions.
• Photograph Title: Photograph Name_Category Technical Conditions: • Digital format: .JPG / .JPEG
• Maximum long side: 1920 dpi
• Resolution: 72 dpi
• Maximum file size: 20 MB
• Each participant may submit up to 4 photographs, in one or more categories (multiple photographs may be submitted in the same category, but the same image may not be submitted in more than one category). Submission format and deadline: Photographs must be submitted digitally, either: • In person, using a USB drive, or • Via email to any of the following Tourist Offices, within the deadline established in each call for entries: • Deadline: Friday, April 24th at 2:00 PM.

- Required Documentation • Photocopy of the participant's ID card/tax identification number.
• Digital photographs in .JPG/.JPEG format according to the specified technical requirements.
Once the winning photographs have been selected, participants will be asked to submit higher resolution files.
• Participation form (Annex 1) with: o Participant's full name.
• Address, ID number, and email address.
• Title of the photograph and location where it was taken.
• Category submitted.
• Author's pseudonym.
• Declaration that the work is original and has not been previously awarded a prize. Proof of Submission: The organization will send proof of submission within a maximum of 72 hours of receiving the works. If you do not receive it, you must contact the organization. Without this proof, the photographs will not be accepted.

- Award Procedure and Evaluation Criteria • The photographs will be evaluated by a jury composed of an odd number of people connected to the world of photography and the arts of the Terres de l'Ebre region.
• The profiles of the jury members will be published in the corresponding call for entries.
• The jury's decision will be final, and it may declare any prize void.
• The winners grant the organizers the reproduction rights to their works for informational and/or advertising purposes, always with attribution to the author.
• The organizers reserve the right to make modifications to the rules for the proper functioning of the competition.
• The winners will be notified before the awards ceremony, which will take place on the date and at the location established by the organizers.
• Winners must attend the awards ceremony or designate someone to attend on their behalf. Otherwise, the prize will be forfeited.
• The photographs will be exhibited to the public in both Deltebre and L'Ametlla de Mar. If space is insufficient, the organizers will select the images to be displayed.
