Welcome to the Nauticopesquera Training School of Catalonia, where the training and qualification needs of professionals in the nautical fishing and diving sector are met, and which manages nautical and recreational diving courses and qualifications. It has three lines of work: training, study and experimentation, and organization and completion of examinations for obtaining degrees.

The training cycles of the group of maritime and fishing activities are taught there and the nautical and fishing training courses that are taught all over the Catalan coast are supervised. These courses are organized by the School, the fishermen's brotherhoods, the Social Institute of the Navy or other entities. In addition, refresher, requalification and improvement courses are taught for professionals in the sector.

The School plans to provide educational programs aimed at ESO and high school centers, and for sailors, divers and recreational fishermen. Currently, he is starting a new project to promote the study and experimentation of new technologies and processes that allow better profitability and reduce the ecological impact. More than 18,000 people have obtained professional nautical and fishing qualifications, and almost 20,000 have obtained the qualifications for recreational boating with the exams given by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Rural Action.
